I get to go to work (when work feels like a burden)
I get to drive my own car (traffic or otherwise)
I get to walk Cherry and witness her joy (when I have to stop what I am doing and walk her)
I get to live under a roof supported by four walls (when I have to clean the house)
I get to park my car in the garage and not leave it on the road (everyday it is a struggle to park my ginormous car in the garage. Yes I do know some @#$ words).
I get to make dinner for my family that devours it within minutes (when I do not feel like cooking)
Replacing ‘have to’ with ‘get to’ all day today! Try it. It is the magic word that changes frustration to gratitude.
