The girl who wrote in silk – A book review

My rating – 5/5.

This is my first historical fiction ever and I am glad I chose this book to get started on this genre.

This is a heavy book. I could not read it continuously without putting it down every now and then. The book messed up my head and played with my emotions – in the end I came out a better person with a better understanding of the world and life around me. Kelli Estes does a good job of weaving chapters between the past and present and that is something I appreciated very much. When one era got too much to handle, a bit of relief was provided by the other era.

See my next post that came into existence because of this book.
